Overview

Gāgdèbi Gíhm was founded durring the early 16th century in fall of the year 1531, by Gnanvaihn. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.

Gāgdèbi Gíhm was built using the conventions of Tauran durring the early 16th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Gāgdèbi Gíhm is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature stone brick construction with most buildings posessing towers, turrets, dormers, and wide wrap-around porches. An extreem emphasis on decorative features and emblishments can be seen even on the poorest of homes and makes even the most humble of structures seem a bit regal.

Gāgdèbi Gíhm is buildings are built arround a single crampt cobblestone mainstreet which forms a counterclockwise spiral to give the city a over all circular shape. The city has a defencive wall made from large clay bricks. The wall is constructed to the exact specifications of millitary fortifications, but the nature of its clay brick construction leaves it vulnerable to even outdated siege equipment. That said, the city is well defended against anything short of an army. Gāgdèbi Gíhm's brittle defences has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.

A quick look in any direction shows Gāgdèbi Gíhm is filled with vices. There are many taverns, brothels are advertising their services on the streets, cardsharks are plying their illicit trade within public squairs, and every shop has at least three signs advertising various sales on goods. That alone wouldn’t be too noticeable, if it wasn’t just so omnipresent and overwhelmingly how the people of this city live. Or if the general public wasn’t so enthusiastically, openly, and merrily participating in these activities.

It emerged as a movement against traditional, classical styles and sought to make buildings dynamic and fun while breaking the rules.
